Who wrote the Bible? Find out. This is the perfect resource for learning the books of the Bible. Printable book spines represent each book in the bible. Students will learn The order of the books in the old and new testament, (Color coding of accent details identifies which testament the book falls into and Roman numerals tell it's order in the Bible.) Which category the book belongs to (The categories are History, Law, Poetry, Prophesy, Gospel, Church History, Paul's Epistles, and General Epistles; they are identified by color.) and the author of each book (The type style of the book title matches the type style of the Author so students can quickly see which books share an author.) Print on cardstock and laminate for longevity then place in a file folder to store. Lay out on a flat surface or make a 3D puzzle by securing the book spines on the ends of cardboard boxes covered with construction paper then arrange them on a bookshelf. Who Can Carry 66 Books? Classroom Activity: Use 3D puzzle suggested above or cover paperback novels and place spines over the novel's spine. Ask the Children how many books they can carry. When each student has had a chance to try, lift your Bible and walk a distance. Explain that the bible is not just one book, but a collection of books; So when you carry a Bible, you are actually carrying 66 books (39 old testament books and 27 new testament books.)
